Creating smart goals are key to professional development, and ensuring that goals are reviewed, and updated is a way to reflect on past goals, modify existing goals, and create new goals for further develop to achieve my full potential to be an active citizen in my community, as well as obtain the skills to truly reflect my philosophy.

For my short term goal I plan on completing my the Professional Development Program at Simon Fraser University by December of 2017.  Throughout my journey I want to continue to further develop my knowledge and experience to strengthen my teaching skills and values. Secondly, I would like to continue to apply the program goals as well as the the First Peoples Principles of Learning into my reflection, lessons, and model these goals to students throughout my practicum.  Lastly, I would also like to achieve my Bachelors of Education as a Second Degree by completing EDUC 404 and EDUC 405

For my long term goals, I would like to start off my career as a teacher on call and experience teaching in a number of district in the lower mainland.  These experience will later on aid in making the right decision on the school or district that I would like to work on in the long run as a full time educator.  Lastly, I would also like to continue to grow in my profession so that I can demonstrate a commitment to lifelong and life-wide learning.
